As registration deadlines approach, The "Declare Yourself" Organization is taking action. Hollyscoop.com was onsite for the Warner Brothers "Declare Yourself" Last Call to Action, Domino Effect Party. The event was held at The Green Door in Hollywood and was hosted by Norman Lear and 'Heroes' star, Hayden Panettiere.
The night’s objective was to attract media attention for this years upcoming voter registration deadlines. Hayden Panettiere's co-stars, Zachary Quinto & Dania Ramirez joined the likes of Corbin Bleu, Adrienne Bailon, Rex Lee & Miss USA Rachel Smith, to support this important and historic cause.
The girls of Danity Kane took the stage for a live performance. And although we didn't speak with all of Diddy's Girls, more than half of the group was in strong support of Barack Obama. Every election is historical, but this year the vibe surrounding the presidential election is different. The cast from ABC family's hit show 'Greek' linked up with The "Declare Yourself" Organization and recently spoke to College Students about Voter Registration.
Scott Michael Foster of Greek told Hollyscoop, "I think its an important election, I think every election is just as important. Honestly right now, the main thing we are focusing on is getting kids to understand the importance of voting in general."
Norman Lear agreed. He said, "You know its a historical time, I don't have to tell you that, but I am going to underline it and say its important to vote cause your not satisfied with what my generation has done with things. And if you are, then don't vote. If you love the way things are going don't vote. But if you know that its time you guys took over, then start to matter."
This is our time to make a difference, come November 4th, every single vote counts. Make your voice heard!
