LA Hotspot: Pizzeria Mozza

Mozza
If you're a fan of Italian food, pizza especially, you absolutely must try Pizzeria Mozza in the Melrose district of LA. Founders Nancy Silverton, Mario Batali and Joseph Bastianic's combined their talents to create brilliant Italian dishes. Everything is based on Italian fresh cheeses, and if that isn't enough to make you salivate, the wine list will.

Pizzeria Mozza boasts 50 Italian wines at $50 and under and the staff are really informative regarding the wine list and menu options.

Try their Coach farm goat cheese, leeks, scallions & bacon pizza and their caprese, it'll melt in your mouth!

The more upscale restaurant Osteria Mozza, which is located next door, boasts a mozzarella bar where the chef will hand-create dishes from fresh Italian cheeses.

As with any LA Hotspot, don't bother walking in without a reservation, unless you don't mind waiting at the pizza bar for an open spot. The restaurant takes reservations one month in advance, so book your dinner now for next month.

For full menu and reservation info, check out their official website at www.mozza-la.com.
