July 4, 1776 was the day us Americans commemorated the adoption of the Declaration of Independence.
Also known as "Independence Day," which is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, picnics, baseball games, and various other public and private events.
One of the best cities to celebrate this holiday isn't the nations capitol, but New York City. The traditional Macy’s July 4th fireworks display is one of the best public shows in the nation.
If you are in NYC and over the crowds that gather along FDR drive here's some advice: Head over to the Empire State building, known to have the best view of the fireworks.
No matter where you spend you’re fourth, just remember to enjoy the holiday for it's traditional values. After all if it wasn't for this holiday we wouldn't be where we are today. Happy Fourth Of July!
