The Empire Hotel: A New York Classic Reborn

The Empire Hotel
New York Fashion week is right around the corner, which means fashionistas and designers will be flocking to the big apple for some of the most important shows in Fashion.

Considering this time of year brings in some of the trendiest people on the planet, we have no doubt that some of NY's most prominent people will be staying at The Empire Hotel.

The refined and elegant, 413 room, hotel is one of the oldest establishments on the Upper West Side. Located on West 63rd Street directly across the street from Dante Park, this posh hotel boast an elegant Lobby Bar on the ground floor, luxurious redesigns of the spacious rooms and suites, and the addition of the exclusive Pool deck on the 13th floor.

Each room is equipped with a LCD flat-screen television, an iPod docking station, wireless Internet access and two telephone lines with data port and voicemail.

After a busy day on the bustling NYC streets, guests can revive their spirits under oversized rainfall showerheads with refreshing L’Occitane bath amenities and then wrap-up in luxurious terry-toweling bathrobes.

Sounds like fashionista heaven to us! For more information about the hotel and reservations, check out their official website at www.empirehotelnyc.com.

If only they acted like they cared whether you were there or not. Customer service is LACKING. We were with a group that had a total of 16 rooms...only 2 were ready at 3PM check in. A couple with a 4 year old and a baby were made to wait 1 hour and 40 minutes after that to get into their suite. It had been reserved 4 months ahead. Other guests were also standing around and sitting around in the lobby waiting, not just our group. This was just two weeks ago, so beware! The bellhops and doormen are fabulous and the rooms are awesome and clean, if you can get in them.
