The Simpsons Ride Opens In Hollywood

This one’s for all you Simpsons fans. Universal Studios in Hollywood has launched the highly anticipated mega-attraction, "The Simpsons Ride” featuring America’s favorite family in their very own thrill ride.

Located within “Krustyland,” a new fantasy theme park within a theme park and created by the show’s cantankerous Krusty the Clown. The attraction features 29 colorful Simpsons characters, all voiced by the original actors, including Hank Azaria, Dan Castellaneta, Nancy Cartwright, Julie Kavner and Yeardley Smith.

“The Simpsons Ride” is designed to capture the show’s classic humor and duplicate the Simpsons home-viewing experience, only at high speed and with lots of screaming.

For the launch of the main attraction, stars like Kelsey Grammer, Lisa Kudrow, Maggie Grace, Larry Birkhead, and Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, among others, came out to test out the ride.

When Hollyscoop caught up with Larry Birkhead, who was with his daughter Dannielynn, he told us "It's been a bittersweet moment, Anna Nicole was a big fan of the Simpsons, so being here is a little bittersweet, but I am sure Dannie Lynn is enjoying it."
